About Us

Here at PregMed, our goal is to provide information and guidance regarding pregnancy, common complaints, and any potential complications that you may experience. Did you recently find out that you’re pregnant? You’re probably looking for answers about what to do next.

Don’t worry. We got you.

You’ll find our guide to prenatal testing handy. Prenatal testing could include ultrasounds, taking your blood pressure, testing your urine, and more.

We’ll walk you through the signs of pregnancy, just in case you haven’t made it to the doctor yet. Then we’ll take you through pregnancy week by week and explain what to expect during each trimester.

What’s more, we have articles that talk about complications such as severe morning sickness and ectopic pregnancy. If you suspect something is wrong, see your doctor immediately.

Of course, we also have ideas to help with common complaints such as bloating and backaches.

You may wonder which medications are safe to take during pregnancy. We have a guide to help. From conception to birth and into baby milestones PregMed is there with you every step of the way.

Not only do we cover all the things that happen with you when you’re pregnant, but we also make sure to bring you relevant reviews on products that will make your pregnancy more comfortable.

We even get into the fun stuff like when to announce your pregnancy and talk about how to make the announcement. Do you want a big party, intimate gathering — maybe you’ll announce it over social media. Whatever you decide, we have ideas to make it memorable.

Our team is on a mission to make sure you have everything you need to help you enjoy your pregnancy and understand all the changes that are happening to your body. After all, you’re creating a life. It’s a magical time.

From pregnancy product reviews to tips and guides, I make sure my team is set up with assignments that will help walk you through your pregnancy.

First pregnancies are overwhelming. Even after your second or third child, there’s still the question of what’s going to happen this time around. After all, each pregnancy is different.

That’s why I advocate for education each time. Whether or not it’s your first baby or your fourth, you’ll likely run into questions along the way. When you do, I’ll make sure you can find the answers here at PregMed. If you have questions, contact me at dgross@pregmed.org

I’m excited to be part of the team at PregMed. My main job is to fact check. So I make sure that you get all the latest information, and I double-check to ensure its accuracy.

I also have a fascination for pregnancies regarding multiple births. I’m a twin from a family of twins, and somehow, I haven’t had a single set yet. I am a proud father of two, however.

I’ve done quite a bit of research regarding multiple births, and I’m sharing that here with you as well. You’ll find extras like that here at PregMed — helpful little tidbits. Contact me at mellis@pregmed.org

As a mid-wife one of my core beliefs is that pregnancy is a natural process. What this means is that I’m here to assist women with education, prenatal care, and I’ll even be in the delivery room. However, my primary purpose is to help mom feel comfortable, allowing her body to do what it does, with the least intervention possible.

Here at PregMed, I’m bringing my nearly two decades of midwife experience to help build guides on all aspects of pregnancy. To that end, I’ve created a Pregnancy Trimester, Month, and Week Breakdown Chart. You’ll learn all about fetal development, what you can expect in each trimester, and more.
